Our exchange isn’t a “service.” It’s community resistance in practice — dismantling isolation, challenging the border logic that divides us, and creating a shared culture of care.
When you support the programme, you help build a future where refugees don’t need representation to be heard, because they already have the language and knowledge to advocate for themselves.

Our Language & Legal Literacy Exchange is a simple idea with radical intent:
we bring refugees, migrants, and local residents together to learn English and Arabic, build legal knowledge, and share a warm home-cooked meal.
No hierarchy, no saviourism - just people teaching, learning, and protecting each other.
But to keep the doors open, the lights on, and the meals cooking, we rely on community support.

You’re helping sustain a space of mutual learning and collective defence.

Provide food and ingredients for shared meals - ensuring everyone leaves nourished, no one excluded by hunger or cost.
Print learning and legal literacy materials in both English and Arabic.
Cover travel costs for refugee participants and volunteers.
Keep the sessions free and accessible for everyone.
Train facilitators to deliver trauma-informed, abolitionist learning spaces.
