Location: Must be North East–based (opening other locations soon)
Time Commitment: ~2–4 hours/week, occasional in-person events
You’ll lead our regional organising efforts — linking legal education to direct action, protest defence, and grassroots community building. You’ll build and maintain relationships with local networks and coordinate Al Adli’s presence in the streets and on the ground.
• Building relationships with mutual aid groups, mosques, unions, Gurdwaras, tenants’ orgs etc.
• Coordinating outreach and workshops in the North East
• Supporting defence work around protest, policing and surveillance
• Helping mobilise for campaigns and solidarity events
• Bringing legal education into activist and community spaces
• Organisers with ties in the North East
• People confident in community outreach and political education
• Those who understand how law fits into struggle – and when it doesn’t
• Those committed to abolitionist and anti-fascist values
• Strong community connections and facilitation skills
• Understanding of power, risk, and safety in activist spaces
